How it works

Coins that pay out in game currency.

1 · PairPick a web3 game, name a coin and launch it on pump.fun from your own wallet. It costs what pump.fun charges (about 0.02 SOL). No creator buy.
2 · LockThe same launch transaction locks 100% of the coin's creator fees to its drop vault, a wallet that only holds that coin's drops. It can't be changed afterwards.
3 · CollectEvery 20 minutes, fees that have built up in pump.fun are pushed into the vault.
4 · DrawAt the top of every hour, if the vault holds at least 0.03 SOL, 3 holders are drawn, weighted by how many tokens they hold.
5 · Pay outSolana currencies are bought on Jupiter and sent to the winners right away. Other-chain currencies are claimed on Claim.

Questions

Who can win?

Every wallet holding at least 100,000 tokens of the coin when the hour turns. The launcher's wallet, the drop vault, the bonding curve and liquidity pools are left out. Each token is a ticket, so bigger holders have better odds, but anyone above the minimum can win. A wallet can win once per drop.

How do I know the draw is fair?

Each drop records the Solana slot and its blockhash. The seed is blockhash:coin address. Eligible holders are sorted by address, and pick i takes sha256(seed + ":" + i) modulo the remaining total balance, walking the list until the running total passes it. Anyone can re-run it from on-chain balances at that slot.

for i in 0..winners:
  r = sha256(seed + ":" + i) mod total_tokens_left
walk holders (sorted by address), add balances, pick the one where the sum passes r
  remove the winner, repeat
What's the difference between auto and claim drops?

Auto: the game's currency trades on Solana (APE, ATLAS, AURY, GMT…), so the fees are swapped on Jupiter and sent to the winners' Solana wallets in the same run. Claim: the currency only lives on another chain (PIXEL on Ronin, PRIME on Base…). The winner's share is set aside in the vault. They connect the winning wallet on Claim, sign, and give an address on that chain; the team sends the currency there, usually within 48 hours, and the set-aside SOL covers it. Unclaimed shares go back into the next drop after 7 days.

Can a coin drop the game's NFT instead?

Yes, for games with a collection (Dookey Dash's Sewer Pass, Aurorians, Axies, Pixels Farm Land…). Pick NFT as the prize when you launch. The coin's fees build up until they cover the collection's floor price plus about 10% for marketplace fees, then one holder is drawn at the top of the hour, weighted by bag like every draw. Solana NFTs go to the winning wallet; NFTs on other chains are claimed on Claim with an address there. The team buys the cheapest listed NFT and sends it, usually within 48 hours, and the set-aside SOL covers it. Solana floors are read live from Magic Eden; other-chain floors are checked and set by the team.

Does the launcher earn anything?

No. 100% of the creator fees go to holders through the drops. Launchers launch because they love the game (or hold the coin).

Does Playfund take a cut?

No cut of the drops. The site's operator wallet pays the small network fees for pushing fees and sending drops. The vault pays to open winners' token accounts the first time they receive a currency (about 0.002 SOL each), and Jupiter's swap costs come out of the swap.

What if a coin doesn't have enough fees?

Nothing drops that hour, and the SOL keeps building until it passes the minimum. Same if nobody holds enough tokens yet.

Can any game be added?

Any web3 game on any chain. Suggest one and we'll check it. If its currency can be bought on Solana it drops automatically; otherwise it's a claim game.

Are you part of these games?

No. Playfund isn't affiliated with any game, studio or pump.fun. Game names are only used to say which currency a coin drops.

Is this safe to buy?

Coins are highly volatile and drops are random: holding doesn't guarantee you'll win anything. Never buy more than you can afford to lose. Check whether prize draws are allowed where you live.
